Entertainment 2021

Special Friday Evening Literary Event

Join us for an informative and spirited discussion on Friday evening, October 1 for our third annual “Cocktails and Conversations!” This year, we will be focusing on Sinclair Lewis’s breakthrough novel Main Street. We will gather at the famous Palmer House Hotel in Sauk Centre at 7pm for a social time with cash bar, followed by a brief book summation and open discussions around some key issues in the novel. Whether you have read the book or not, we hope you will find this gathering and discussion to be both meaningful and fun, while taking away a deeper appreciation of Sinclair Lewis and his writing.

There is no charge to attend this event, though free-will donations are appreciated.

Stevie Ray’s Comedy Troupe

The Stevie Ray’s Comedy Troupe creates hilarious improv comedy based on suggestions you call out from the audience! Improvisation, or “improv,” is just like what you see on the hit TV show, “Whose Line is it Anyway?” Stevie Ray’s improv comedy is fast-paced and slap-your-knee funny. You can either play along and call out your ideas during the show or sit back and just watch the comedy unfold in front of you.
